Unlike other datapacks that scan the world or detect block breaking events, Block Counter relies entirely on Minecraft's vanilla mining statistics, making it lightweight, reliable, and multiplayer-friendly. Each supported block has its own vanilla statistic: minecraft.mined:minecraft:block_name The datapack creates a scoreboard objective for every supported block and periodically combines them into a single total score. No world scanning. No block detection. No external mods. Everything is handled using Minecraft's built-in statistics.
