# Momentum SMP Momentum SMP is a mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 together with Fabric which provides a progression system based on momentum, exclusive rewards, tracking of players, restrictions regarding combat, limits on the use of Totems, and a number of anti-exploit rules all designed for competitive SMP play. ## ⚡ Momentum System The players have a momentum level ranging from 0 to 10. Momentum is mainly gained through the successful killing of other players. ### Gaining Momentum A valid player kill usually awards the killer **+1 Momentum**. Momentum cannot go higher than **10**. Killing players when certain Momentum thresholds are reached is restricted. You can't just kill completely unarmored players in order to gain Momentum. ### Losing Momentum When a player dies: * When their Momentum is between 1 and 4, they suffer a loss of 1 Momentum. If their Momentum is between 5 and 10, it is reduced to 5. Momentum 0 remains at 0.
