AION: The Red Heartland - A Living Forever World (survival/puzzle/parkour map) (b1.4_01) [20,250x10,000 blocks] - Dev Log #1 preview

Note: Aion (stylised as AION) (Greek deity; term taken from Jung's book of the same name. And he connects this to the lion-headed figure from Mithraism. This will feature in the worldbuilding/lore). Elevator pitch? What if you found yourself, not in a post-apocalypse world, but the world that exists after that... after the after; far into the future, at the end of time, at Aion? And what if the reconstruction, too, has fallen? Then, the world does not end with a bang or a whimper, as T.S. Eliot proclaimed, or else fire or ice, as Robert Frost declared -- but a song of the dunes.... the whistling sand... the booming of the red heartland... the descendants of the descendants. And it is not rebuilt by gold and the sword, to borrow from Emerson, but Man; and it is not rebuilt once, but forever... -- Map/Image Details: 1:1 scale Breath of the Wild for context (roughly 9,000x8,000 blocks or 72 square km). Great Lakes of America underneath are NOT to any real scale (but 7,500x5,000 blocks here). Each grid square is for dev purposes as I design the map (2,000x2,000 each). The orange map field is 1:25 scale in terms of pixel-block ratio (i.e. 400 pixels north to south = 10,000 pixels/block
