Mandalay Palace (Burma)

I’m currently working on a large-scale recreation of 19th-century Mandalay Palace in Minecraft, specifically aiming to recreate the royal compound as it existed before the British annexation in 1885. This is still very much a work in progress. The planned compound is around 3,400 × 3,400 blocks, and I’m still in the early stages. There are many buildings, gardens, courtyards, and other areas still to be built. One of the things I’m still figuring out is the interior decoration. Historical references don't always give me enough information about what individual rooms looked like inside, so I'm experimenting with ways to represent the interiors while keeping them appropriate to the period. For now, I mainly wanted to share the progress and see what other builders think. Ideas, suggestions, references, and general feedback are very welcome! This project is going to take a very long time, but I'm excited to see how the entire compound eventually comes together.
