大阪城 / Osaka Castle https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BrqQReL0fTw This is a Minecraft project to faithfully recreate Osaka Castle, focusing on the present-day castle tower and surrounding architecture. Located in Osaka City, Osaka Castle is one of Japan’s most famous castles, closely associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the Tokugawa shogunate. Its massive stone walls, moats, gates, and turrets continue to define the heart of Osaka. The present castle largely reflects the Tokugawa reconstruction begun in 1620 under Tokugawa Hidetada. Built on a much larger scale than Hideyoshi’s original castle, it became one of the greatest fortresses of the Edo period. The Tokugawa castle tower was completed in 1626 but was destroyed by lightning and fire in 1665 and never rebuilt during the Edo period.
