In 1898, New York’s five boroughs were consolidated into Greater New York. With the old City Hall running out of space, there was a need for a large, multi-purpose municipal office building to house multiple city government agencies. Construction began in 1909 and was officially completed in 1914. In the game, the building has a clear height of 122 blocks, and its exterior features sandstone-style blocks to recreate the weathered appearance of the facade. A SCHEME file is provided.
